How renting with us works
From the first place you like to the day you get the keys.
Step 1
See it.
Find a place you like and request a viewing. An agent confirms within 48 hours, usually the same day, and meets you there.
Step 2
Apply.
If it feels right in person, your agent sends you a secure application link. You apply online. This site never asks for your Social Security number or bank documents.
Step 3
Get screened.
The landlord reviews your application, typically income, credit, and references. Many landlords look for household income around 40 times the monthly rent, or a guarantor. Not sure you qualify? Tell your agent early and they will help you find the right fit.
Step 4
Sign the lease.
Once you are approved, you review and sign. Every cost you pay is itemized in writing before you sign.
No fee to you. Every rental on our site is landlord-represented, so under New York City's FARE Act the broker fee is the landlord's to pay, not yours. You pay no broker fee to Arché Nest.
